Name: Godiva Chocolatier Café

Nearest MRT: Orchard

This Godiva store is not like their normal branches that you see around Singapore, this branch in ION Orchard is the first Godiva cafe in Southeast Asia. Check out the video at the end of this post which shows the footage of my visit to the cafe.

Here is how the shop looks like:

Other than the normal soft serve and chocolate you can get at the other branches, this cafe also offers waffle with soft serve, drinks and chocolate fondue.

My order:

Ice cream: Dark Chocolate soft serve $9

Drink: Ginger Pear Tea $9

Firstly, the Ginger Pear Tea

I wanted to order some other tea but the staff suggested that I order this as it is very light and will go well with our soft serve. I personally do not favor ginger but the tea itself had a stronger pear taste that overpowered the ginger in a good way. It definitely helped balance out the strong and sweet taste of the ice cream, and pleasantly cleansed our taste buds.

Next, the Dark Chocolate soft serve!

I WAS SO EXCITED TO TRY THIS OUT! There have been rave reviews going around about how crazy good this is. After trying it, I can say it really is as good as the reviews have been. I chose the dark chocolate flavor because I preferred the strong, slight bitter cocoa taste. The moment you taste the ice cream, you can feel the creamy texture swirling inside your mouth, it was so so good! There's not much else to talk about, this looks like a normal cone ice cream, but it's 10x better because it was made with extremely rich and quality chocolate.

So...... YUM! or Meh?

Mmmmm YUM! I can still vividly taste the luscious taste in my mouth. Chocolate lovers should 100% visit this cafe, or any of their other branches, to indulge in all things chocolate. Godiva as usual, clearly did not disappoint.

Before you leave, here's a short video to look back on my trip to Godiva's first cafe in Southeast Asia.
